02. The first moment belongs to you
00:01:01 Malin Pousette: There is a moment in the morning, a sacred, quiet space that belongs to you. But so often, without even thinking, we reach for our phones. Eyes barely open, breath still and suddenly we are in someone else's world. Even if it's something interesting. Even if it feels like just checking something real quick, We're no longer with ourself. This morning, I felt it. A small curiosity led me into a scroll. And when I came back to myself, I felt robbed. Not because the content was bad, but because it wasn't me. It wasn't the gentle rhythm of my thoughts. It wasn't the space I so deeply needed. So today I want to invite you into a soft agreement, an agreement with yourself that the first hour or even just the first few moments, they belong to you, to your breath, to your body, to your own quiet rhythm of waking up. Before anyone else opinions, voices, updates, or energy gets into your energy field. Can you give yourself the time to connect inward instead of outward? Can you tune in to the messages from your body or even just the stillness of the morning? And then notice when you do eventually reach for your phone. Is it because you need to? Or is it a habit? Is it nourishing? Or is it numbing you? Is it connecting you or distracting you? And remember, there is no shame here. Only awareness. Only a choice. So here's the invitation. Start your day with you. Let your breath be the first thing you connect to. Let your body guide you I promise the world can wait.
00:03:38 Malin Pousette: Let's take a breath together. Place one hand on your heart and maybe one hand on your belly or just let your hands rest in your lap. Softly close your eyes if that feels safe. And inhale through your nose. Slow and gentle. Maybe take a pause here. And exhale slowly through the mouth, soft and long, letting it all go. Let's do it again. Inhale in through your nose. Take a tiny pause here. And exhale out.
00:04:36 Malin Pousette: And again, really connect with your breath. Connect with your heart, your belly. Inhale. Inhale. Can this be your beginning every morning? You, your breath, your rhythm. And notice how this tiny little shift. Starting your day with you instead of your phone. Notice how it feels in your body, in your heart. Do you want more of it? Do you crave these kind of beginnings? Let this be your compass. Until next time, let's begin within.
