06. To land in your body
00:01:01 Unknown: What does it mean to truly land in your body? To return, not just in thought, but in presence, in breath, in sensation. In this episode, we soften into the wisdom of our body. And remember what it feels like to come home again and again and again. There are days when we feel like we're floating, not in a dreamy, magical way, but in a disconnected way. Living from the neck up. Thinking, doing, rushing, worrying, moving fast, doing more, feeling less. It can be so easy to leave the body behind. Especially in a world that ask us to produce, but rarely invite us to pause. And yet, the body is always waiting. Quietly calling us back. Back to breath. Back to feeling. Back to this sacred place of feeling alive. So wherever you are right now, if you're standing, sitting, walking, can you feel the ground beneath you? Can you allow your breath to deepen just a little?
00:02:42 Unknown: This is your invitation to return, to land, and to feel. Place a hand on your chest and maybe the other one on your belly and feel the rise and the fall. And let's take a breath together. I invite you to do a three-part breath with me. We do two inhales in through our mouth and a gentle exhale out our mouth. And it can sound something like this. Or maybe you want it deeper, you do it like this. So let's inhale through your mouth, down your belly. Up your chest and exhale and release. Let something soften with every breath. Again, down your belly, up your chest, and release. Keep breathing. And remember that you decide the pace. You decide the depth. And if it feels comfortable for you, gently press your feet into the earth or the ground beneath you. Notice the weight of your body. Notice how you're held from the surface beneath you, anchoring you, grounding you. Just feel the support. Sometimes when we return to the body, what greets us isn't always ease. It can be all kinds of emotions. It can be grief, tension, Tightness in a soft mix with joy, peace, and happiness, just to name a few. But remember, all emotions are welcome here. It's okay. The body holds stories and you don't have to rush to change any of them. You're allowed to feel, to breathe, to simply just be. Even just a moment of presence is enough. Even just one deep breath is a beginning. It's a practice, of patience and of trust. Let the breath stay steady. Let the stillness be kind and let yourself land. In my work as a breathwork facilitator, this is what I love most. Supporting others as they anchor into themselves. Witnessing the moment they land. The moment breath brings them home. It's one of the reasons I love breathwork so deeply. It simply invites presence. A return. A soft, steady homecoming to the body. You don't need the perfect setting. You don't need more time. You only need a few breaths. And a willingness to be here. And remember, even one breath is enough. And with your next exhale, I invite you to do a bottom hold here. So just empty yourself out. Hold it at the bottom for as long as it feels safe. And whenever you want to inhale again, you just take a deep inhale in. And just release any breath pattern and come back to a natural breath. Wherever you go after this, may your body feel like home. May your breath be your anchor. Let yourself land. Let yourself be held. Let yourself be here. And if it feels right, maybe carry this question with you today. When do I feel most at home in my body? Keep breathing, keep softening, keep coming Until next time, let's
00:08:07 Unknown: begin within.
